I felt quite disconnected from this series, mainly because of the miscasting of the lead characters. The first seven episodes felt like one story, and from episode eight onwards, it suddenly turned into something completely different. Another thing that really bothered me was how often the characters cried — especially the ex-boyfriend and the brother. I’m not against men showing emotions, but the crying could’ve been portrayed more subtly. The constant loud crying in almost every situation made the scenes feel unintentionally funny instead of emotional. The storyline itself wasn’t very engaging, and honestly, the show felt overhyped. There are plenty of K-dramas out there that are much better than this one. For me, it was a waste of time — I even found myself getting sleepy during some episodes
