I SO relate to Jenn; so trusting of her man (though he lied about his knowledge and experience, putting both their lives at risk), kindly forgiving as it became clearer and even with no experience, adapting and getting out of there! Enough of toxic masculine hubris, hell I'm wild enough on my own! I have been camping for months in such wild and dangerous places before, trusting that my man was as experienced as he claimed. He wasn't and he also was not as innovative, brave and capable as I was! Based on a true story, it could have been mine!
