I didn’t think Squid Game was a masterpiece to begin with, but Season 2 somehow takes the flaws of the first season and amplifies them. The entire season feels childish, with overly dramatic acting, cringe-worthy dialogue, and a plot so predictable it’s almost laughable. The games, which should have been the centerpiece, are uninspired and lack any real tension. Instead of being thrilling or thought-provoking, they come off as repetitive and dull. Worse yet, the show drags every moment unnecessarily, stretching out scenes that could have been wrapped up in half the time. There’s no emotional depth, no engaging characters, and no reason to sit through this dragged-out disaster. It feels like the creators were just cashing in on the hype of the first season without putting in any real effort.
