I didn't choose to read this book. It chose me. I was scrolling through book titles looking for something to read. I stumbled across 'The Lies of Locke Lamora' and selected it for one reason only: In 50 years of reading for pleasure, it was hands down the best title for a book I had ever seen. Still is. So based on the title alone, I had to give it a shot, no matter what genre, no matter what length. I'm glad I did. Well written,, great characters, great story. Dark and violent, yet funny and profane. What an imagination and what a treat!
