I wanted to like this show, but I can't, for several reasons. First of all, I was expecting something more like a k-drama and this show doesn't meet my meet my expectations. It takes place mostly in Seoul, but there's way too much English being spoken (even for an international school)
Additionally, watching it feels awkward to me. The main character, Kitty, doesn't seem to have much knowledge or appreciation for her Korean heritage or culture.
Moreover, the pacing of the show is slow, some of the storylines are over the top, like how Kitty is living in the male dorms because her roommate was secretly filming her sleeping, and no one bothered to report the roommate. Kitty is ultimately expelled from the school because of this.
The relationships feel shallow, messy and confusing - between Kitty and Dae, Dae and Yuri, Yuri and Kitty, and Kitty and Minho. There is no chemistry, and it feels forced.
Some of the characters seem really out of place, like Madison Miller, who is annoying throughout the entire show.
Lastly, the tone of the show is inconsistent and confusing, the writers are trying too hard to balance comedy and drama, which make it unsatisfying to watch.
