Loved it. I was/ am a big believer in Bruces' message as a high school girl. His music transcended me out of the abuse I lived in--into to a world of hopefulness, adventure and ultimately, happiness. I had Bruce concert tickets like Javed did in the film. I worked hard for them, and because I missed one house choir,my Mom ripped them.up in front of me . That scene in the movie, struck a deep, painful cord in my memory.. Every review of this movie, good or bad, is a long descriptive statement.. Because its deep, its real and it rehashes alot of difficult emotions. Yes,there were a few goofy ,corny scenes...but it just added to the overall sweetness and innocence of the film.. For me, there were afew tears...because it struck a cord in the fabric of " me".The sax solo of
Jungland brings me to my knees in its beauty and deep despair, and when its played at a painful moment in the movie, I felt like it was a tribute strictly meant for me. You have to see it. If you love Bruce, hot summer nights, racing in the streets, the lost and lonely souls and finding your place in the world, you'll very much 'get' this film. Goofy moments and all.❤👍
