I don’t understand why people don’t like this film. My wife and I started watching it and couldn’t turn it off. Superb acting

This movie made no sense. I wanted to write a review but you know what never mind!

I guess I’m one of the few people who didn’t like this film. Another reboot film for a franchise trying to make more money. Why wasn’t Will Smith in the movie yet his storyline is replaced with Idris Elba who had the same story as John Cena?? It seemed like a more gory guardians of the galaxy. Over the top violence, some funny jokes and loved the shark character but the main villain was a starfish? Great characters got killed too soon. Wasn’t a fan but thank God for HBOMAX.

Was a good movie, I loved all of the actors. Like an episode of Black Mirrors only longer.

This movie was extremely slow, just really hard to get into. Great visual effects but the action is forced from the pirates on the moon to the killer monkeys on the shuttle. We constantly get Roy talking to himself as if this will explain what is going on with Roy. Honestly I don’t want to even write a review about this movie. I’m glad it was a free movie with my HBO subscription. I love Brad Pitt and space movies that’s why I gave it a 2.

The movie started off with a great premise, an Island where your fantasies can come true but the movie get so confusing toward the end you end up wanting your money back. If I have a fantasy why would my fantasy cause someone else not to enjoy their fantasy? Whose fantasy am I looking at? Why do some people get two fantasies? If I have an overall fantasy I can control other people fantasies unless one of those people decide to control my fantasy.
