Passing4 Human

Really enjoyed this. Brilliant performances all round. It's a bit glossy and daft at points, but - a bit like "The Undoing"- if you enjoy watching rich folk unravelling then you'll enjoy this. I love this sort of thing. If anyone is as old as me and remembers "The Politician's Wife" from the mid '90s with Trevor Eve and Juliet Stevenson, it's got a similar vibe to that (that had some ridiculous plot twists too, but it was so well done, frankly who cares). Glorious, well-acted nonsense.

A difficult, tense watch but Anna Kendrick is brilliant. Some of the reviews here show exactly why this film is needed. Emotional abuse and the kind of coercive control depicted in the film IS abuse. He's not "just a bad boyfriend" (Hunny Bunny and your review - I'm looking at you!). I'm in my fifties and these thing didn't used to be understood or talked about, so I'm glad to see a film like this being made by a star like Kendrick.
