So glad that we aren't beholden to another show about an affluent white family or a blue-collar white family. That isn't the only reality in the United States. Not anymore, to be frank. Our world is changing and the narratives we craft for film and TV should reflect it in some capacity. How else can we evolve? Whatever your political agenda dictates, is irrelevant. Call it propaganda if you like. We've been swallowing the status quo while being told it is "aspirational." I applaud the new Party of Five for at least exploring a very real thread as to what is the contemporary American Reality.
