Spoilers for the Wishology trilogy and the Fairly OddParents series!
Years after watching the trilogy, I might think that it has flaws to point out and what to fix. First is the magic muffin, which should have been kept away from anyone but Timmy Turner. Instead of keeping it just in case of emergency, he throws the magic muffin away off from our sight. Consequently, leaving the magic muffin to its unknown fate. Second is the parodies, especially cliches from the 1990s and 2000s works. The third is the traits of the characters remaining like that, unlike the characters having common sense and less stupidity. That trilogy is in the 6th season and never impressed me with the story contrasted to Channel Chasers, which has some parody references but is good enough to end the series.
Perhaps the flaw of the Wishology trilogy is Timmy's relationship and some of the characters' involvement. Yes, most of the characters are there in the trilogy, but there are two problems. Trixie and Tootie.
I watched episodes involving Timmy having love for Trixie, and these episodes have Trixie rejecting him many times. Additionally, in one of the episodes, Trixie tried to kill Timmy, which makes me think that we, the viewers, should not sympathize with her. It is difficult to say what to change, but it could be a conflict with Tootie and maybe even Veronica.
For the character of Trixie, it is best if she reveals her tomboy personality publicly to her fanbase during the crisis to explore the reactions of other characters, including her bodyguards and friends.
Tootie is miserable and frankly in love with Timmy Turner one-sided. Regardless of her status, she does not appear in any part of the Wishology trilogy and never interacts with other characters. The trilogy should have Tootie play her minor role but have thoughts about Timmy Turner and Trixie.
Maybe Veronica may have a chance to interact with Timmy Turner with her secret crush on him, but I have to make a missed opportunity to critique the plot.
If Jorden did not wipe the memories of everyone aware of The Darkness/Kindness and the fairies, Densil Crocker would have gone differently. Is he going for power to rule the world again? Possibly. If the fairies accidentally revealed themselves to humanity, how would Earth do with them?
Overall, the story of Wishology is okay and should be one of the works of the Fairly OddParents series to end; however, the status quo via erasing the memories has ruined what the characters have been through, and the love relationships without fighting over who wins Timmy Turner is left unexplored.
