Like, it was all good and fine 2/3 of the movie. But then it just kept getting worse.

Really good! But in my country the age rating was 12y/o for the cinema. In my opinion thatโs way too young. It shouldve been 14y/o or something. Some scenes are too brutal for a 12y/o child.
I am 18 and i know for a fact that me at 12 wouldโve been scared so much.
