I enjoyed it. There is a need for some suspended reality but nothing atypical for a movie. The acting was good. Mainly, the artist in the movie is written so well. I've known men just him. It's a simple movie yet it's not boring and it's not obvious. I'd watch it again. Glad I have it a chance after the reviews I saw.

I didn't have any preconceived notions going into this. Have to say this was one of the worst movies I've watched. The acting was good and the sets were nice but the storyline was just pointless. I liked that Barbie and Ken were played by older actors and that there was brown and black representation. The movie was just not enjoyable for me.

They had to pivot the whole story because the original black panther couldmt be a part of this movie. Having that obstacle they still pulled off an empowering movie just as good as the first.

This movie is boring and makes no sense. Character development doesn’t seem to flow naturally. The domestic violence portrayed on the captive female is not for the faint of heart. The idea there is a possible savior who never steps up just isn’t my idea of any worthwhile storytelling. The weakness of the man who is no help isn’t explored, so it’s just frustrating. It’s basically a story of beastiality and cruelty to the weak and vulnerable from fear. I actually loathe this movie and I love movies that are hardcore in the story.

The movie was suspenseful for me. I could feel his panic and helplessness. Also, thought provoking because he had a choice to make that could have put this all to an end but his goal was not to have to face the music of what he’d done. Instead, he tries to get away with it & ends up causing so much more damage & even a life.

Don’t get the hype. Acting was good but did not understand the storyline because it could not be as simplistic as it seemed.

Interesting. Good acting. Liked the accents. Care about characters.

I’ve read other ppl’s reviews and I just don’t agree. I think this could have been a compelling story but I think it would have been better in some places where it seemed to be gory for the sake of it. I think they could have found more levels.

Can’t belive a series is this scary. Not cheap jump out of your seat scares but truly scary and a psychological thriller (an element all scary movies intend to be). I actually had nightmares last night that kept me up. I’m a fan of horrors and thrillers and watch regularly and never had a nightmare from one or anything else. I give it a 10. Still shocked it’s just a series & on Netflix!
