Some people are looking at this the wrong way. Sure the idea of getting married is weird because of how short the time spam is but a lot of people meet, fall in love and get married within 3 months. I LOVE the idea of no social media and interacting without seeing each other. It really gives you a chance to know someone without judging looks.
