Im at S1 episode 9 and ive already seen season 2. This post is abt what Ines said abt good love and bad love and good earnest ppl. So many ppl out there that are good but making terrible choices and so many good earnest ppl getting trampled by those looking for something else besides love. Looking for excitement, just the next experience. I know editing is tricky but i felt that Dom, Ines, Abbey, Shayne were really good earnest ppl. When good ppl can find each other, share that in common, its a beauty to watch. Georgia, Damien and Chloe are good earnest ppl too but can fall into their baser instincts. We all do. Francesca is coming from the direction that i know abt, have done myself and makes me cringe. As she ages, she might just look back on her life and wonder why so many ppl had to get hurt.

(No spoilers) Get through the tough to watch first 3 episodes. Well written and poignantly expressive of a unique narrative that doesnt condescend to the viewer. Smart, hard to keep up with in just the amount you want. Cinematic use of font in the credits and 90s songs. Its sending me into a deep dive into 90s songs just to hold on to the feeling i had at the end of season 1 finale. Makes me proud to be an Asian American kid of the 90s.
