I love the Morbid Podcast and was so excited when this book was released. Overall this was a quick, easy read. Characters lack depth and growth and parts of the book were frankly disturbing. My biggest complaint is I as the reader seemed to know more about the villan than the protagonist. Side characters, like Richard, felt two dimensional at best. Still, I am happy to support a new author and will probably read the next book.
