I liked this book quite well. I had the experience of being an infantry soldier in Vietnam during the American part of the war, and this story mostly rings true. Somehow this gang of former Nazis adapted to war in the jungle and outdid the NVA and Viet Minh. The stories of the cruelty and depravity of the enemy certainly is realistic.
