The animation and voice acting was good. Overall the show wasn’t bad but it focused too much on recycling villains and heroes from Inuyasha, a bit more creativity would have gone a long way when running filler episodes. They also focused on blurring the gender lines for quite a few characters for no reason which was off-putting and seemed to take away from a clear outline to the plot. The story seems promising with the rainbow pearls, but I don’t think it meets its full potential. I’m unsure about what to think of the pacing and character development yet. I would say this is a cash grab that was done with relative mediocracy. Not a bad show but it definitely lives in the shadow of Inuyasha. Its worth a try if you haven’t watched it yet.
