Just awful. The one star reviews nailed it. Boring. Insufferable characters. Muddled, disingenuous plot. Tried to jump to episode 7, but realized I just did not care how it would end.

Despite the underlying race-baiting premise, the story is full of unexplained (and inexplicable) events. Never settling on a causal premise, the "eerie" events involving behavioral changes in wildlife, and shifting points of view; e.g., the pristine beach scene shifting inexplicably to one of carnage. Multiple inconsistencies, completely unfounded mystic metaphors and logical non-sequiturs do not create an eerie effect-just a confused and muddled result. The only real mystery that remains at the film's conclusion is how this bit of arse-gravy got made in the first place.

How many pointless stories and meaningless anecdotes can be laboriously bandied about in a 6 episode plodding and confused series. The reviews that applauded the first 2.5 episodes were spot on; same for the comments questioning the plethora of 5 star reviews for a very mediocre series. The series might have made an engaging 90 minute "made for tv" movie...maybe. I'm reading a 10,000 page anthology of 19th century gothic horror classics...and finishing this series seems to be the more onerous task.

Without paying attention to the plot, the conflict, the characters or their development...all I could focus on was the one wild eyebrow hair that showed up conspicuously in all Bruce Willis' scenes. Makeup, production and post production ALL missed that fascinating yet off putting element. It was only clipped at the 100 minute mark into the film. At that point, with the rogue hair being tamed, I was releived, but also a bit nostalgic for the good old wild eyebrow hair bruce. Unfortunately, I don't think there was much of a story to tell. Without that pesky eyebrow hair to focus on, I kind of lost interest. This was my first review, and Mother tells me I'm pretty smart, so maybe I'll try again.

Not much to redeem this exercise in desolation and despair. To fatalistically bow your head and take your punishment leads to a really dismal and utterly pointless conclusion. Waste of time.

Hard Pass. Within the first 3.5 minutes, we had the hook of a bunch of English white males marching, sieg heiling; generally being racist thugs. The 2 characters confronted by this hate were 2 individuals of nonwhite cultural backgrounds, one of them non male. It's wrong to stereotype humans into villianesque roles based solely on gender and skin color. It is hate.

Just awful. Jam packed with trite and meaningless dialogue, completely predictable action along with some preachy moralizing. Like a bad social studies lesson from 50 years ago. The British term "arse gravy" comes to mind.

With a bit of work, this would've made a mediocre half-hour Twilight Zone episode.
