Precious little revealed about the protagonist, as with most of Statham's movies. However the plot develops at a suitable pace. Good use of a non-linear timeline.
Guy Ritchie slickness (a la the Gentlemen) is seen throughout; while some truly gross grittiness in the middle have run with a porn ring. Some close-ups of bullet wounds as well.
Statham's singular revenge purpose and the focus upon it drives my rating up. Probably not my favorite Statham, but a better use of his charisma than most of the several forgettable feature roles over the past 10 years.
