At first, the series seemed pretty good and exciting. It beautifully shows how magnificent life in Paris is and how it’s the dream of many young girls to live there, as it’s known as the city of love. The first two seasons were engaging, but as the story went on, Emily got involved with multiple guys, knowing that none of it would last. She wasn’t truly committed to anyone and kept holding on to her crush - her neighbor who is the chef - even though he already had a girlfriend. When Alfie showed up in Season 3, I thought he was definitely the one and that Emily would finally mature and have a healthy relationship. But after some time, she ruined it because of that same neighbor! I mean, who does that? Even after Alfie came to apologize, she went back to the chef neighbor again. After all that drama, in Season 4, she ends up with a completely different guy and moves to Rome. Honestly, after her breakup with Alfie, I just stopped watching. It’s so frustrating to see a woman keep making such poor choices. I know it’s just a TV series, but it really gets on my nerves when it ends like that!
