The first Top Gun movie was iconic. Top Gun Maverick is outstanding. They pulled it off and then some. The links to the first movie are sheer brilliance for us all of a certain age. However it does not detract from an awsome story line and one of the best, if not the very best sequels ever made.
This is one of best films ever made. Sheer brilliance on every level.
