Was tempering my expectations for this years-later continuation ot a TV show that helped shape my childhood. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. Somehow they've kept the same magic and maturity (for a cartoon) of the original show while updating the animation in a major way. The character models/designs thankfully emain in-tact but the animation is fluid and fantastic for an episodic cartoon. The show takes the source material seriously, shows it the respect it deserves and I couldn't be happier. Shogun then this.. has Disney actually started making quality content again??
