I am grateful for Judith's review as it opens the view into the reasoning behind the heartbreaking "slow fade" of Klara. Still i find it hard to accept that Klara would simply be discarded like a spent, broken vacuum cleaner, in the Yard. What? Really? Ishiguro shows real joy and kindness toward Klara from her owners, yet ultimately they cast her aside. I find it hard to fathom. We, as humans, collect and gather sentimental items of far lesser importance than a likely, extremely expensive AF, into our lives, and hold them dear. Never to let them go! Thank you for the wonderful review, my temporal overloaded motherboard has regained balance and equanimity. JP Humanoid B3-2
