It was ok. I loved the action but as a Mortal Kombat fan just no! Please don't rush new character ESPECIALLY AS THE MAIN FOCAL POINT OF THE MOVIE! This movie should have been 3 hours to properly do the franchise justice. No tournament???? Just 1 big fight on earthrealm. And no Johnny Cage sorry folks, he didn't have to be the main focus of the film, but I would've much preferred the first installment to be about the original characters giving origin stories leading up to a tournament or even no tournament but still giving more substance to the characters. I don't mind Cole Young, his story was rushed and confusing. I spent much of the film trying to figure out what character he was supposed to be because he was adopted.

If I could give this movie 0 stars I would. So she exploits old people and quite frankly gets away with it. She is not truly punished for her crimes. This movie makes the villains look like the heroes of the movie.
