It felt like it was a guided cinematic experience rather than a game, the gameplay itself was story scenes broken up with either move and listen to the NPC, run, stealth or fight sequences and a few exploring hubs. It was consequence and choice free, and you spend time looking for gear only to have it removed, I didn't like that part, especially when certain upgrades weren't available until it was too late to focus on them.
There wasn't any risk of permanent death and the most frustrating thing about dying was spawning further in time than expected so you missed an item.
It did start off great, i liked the set up and the first few chapters, it was great walking around in the rain, but once you switched characters and had to play as your Abby I just couldnt get into it, knowing that you were hunting yourself and having the story trying to get you on Abby's side all the time was irritating. Though trying to humanise the enemy was a good idea morally it just didnt make for a very enjoyable experience, I left the game feeling relief that it was over.
