It is entertaining enough. I generally liked it. It just seems like there were a lot of things in the plot that were unneeded and went nowhere.
My biggest gripe: The Prophet committed something so heinous and unforgivable but everyone just forgets about it.
Maybe the book covers these weird loose ends better.

Meh. This could've/should've been a 1.5-hour movie. While the incessant long visual scenes are stunning, they are too much. They went backward on the visual effects. It looks cartoonish. Many scenes look like a video game. Thank God I bought it because it took me two weeks to get through it. Not looking forward to the next 5 sequels.
