This was bad. And it got worse after episode 3 so I'm like invested in knowing what's going on but I'm literally saying out loud to the tv how bad this is. Major plot holes, ridiculous character development, the detectives behave like idiot cartoons stuck in middle school, and I began to pray for it to be over.

Oof. What happened? It almost felt like 2 1/2 movies clumsily sewn together. The first half was jokes falling flat and Winona and Justin's acting that didn't gel. A new villain was introduced: a character that proves completely unnecessary and useless. The second half of the film at least felt like a Tim Burton film but seemed like a miss opportunity to build on the original with new fun creative scenes but ..it was so much rehash. Best part for me was the strong female trio. They were fantastic.
