AT the end of the film I was left convinced that Mr. Martin Freeman was actually suffering from Cataplexy, that's how authentically he deconstructed himself on screen and it's such a beautiful portrayal of the character (Charlie).
It's been eight hours and I still can't get it out of my head.
After knowing that it's a film about a certain disease, we're bound to sympathize with the protagonist subconsciously but the magic of the film is that despite of every day struggles that are shown to us, we don't feel sorry for him but rather connect with him in much humanely way. I really wish to appreciate the directors and creators of this film for bringing light to this topic and of course Mr. Martin Freeman for justifying the role that he played so beautifully. I laughed for the quirks at the start and I cried horribly when Charlie confronts Cooper about his insecurities at the end. Moral of the whole story is a beautiful quote I read somewhere, I can't be verbatim but here it goes -
"Your job is not to seek love but rather break down all the walls within yourself that prevents you from getting it"
Seriously, Thank you. Thank you. Thank you- For this beautiful film.
