Malath Alassaf

I bought this book thinking it was going to live up to all the hype it has been getting. I was very much disappointed. The idea was brilliant, the writing was good, but the execution? Not so much. The story deranged out and didn’t have that wow element I thought was going to be present. The protagonist as smart, witty, and overall all an ideal protagonist, but she made a ton of stupid mistakes or she could have acted better in some situations. -spoiler- When the writer reviled the mushroom thing, the fist thing to come to mind was to burn it. But it took 200 pages for the protagonist to think of it.
