This show is wildly racist and stereotypical. It shows yet another example of colonization. It is hateful towards African culture while pretending to be well meaning. The main characters seem to just be there earning a check. It’s truly pathetic.

Another example of lazy filmmaking and the inability to be original.

So far , there's way too many plot lines and it's taking itself too seriously. Very cheap on the monsters and heavy on the character build up..

Good cast and surprising performance by everyone

Emotional and unique. Still paying a bit of homage to the original but nothing that didn’t take away from it being a stand alone movie. Unbelievable acting and fight sequences. Likable characters- even the protagonist. Overall a solid 5. A bit of everything. Nostalgia, grit , sadness at a lost youth , and pride in the Creed name. Don’t miss it

This show has me rethinking everything I know about the Bible and God. It’s an emotional roller coaster and makes the viewer have “sympathy for the Devil”. It’s deliciously evil, yet pure in its base , and carnal humanity. I recommend this to anyone who needs to feel in tough with the celestial condition.

You must re think the original. Forget about it. This series stands on its own two feet. It’s gritty, heartfelt, and has its comical moments. The adjustment from the streets of West Philly to LA is definitely hard to watch especially if you’ve never been in Wills shoes. Jabari Banks is amazing as Will. Reminds me of Will Smith without copying the original. Reinvented cast brings amazing reality to the show. I absolutely recommend this for folks who are open minded and don’t always need the same rehashed garbage.

I’m still a mess after watching this one. A unique and quirky dramady that mixes dark humor with tragic undertones all while the main plot of a planet killing asteroid lurks in the background like pending doom. The cast is smart and plays the sad clowns very well. Steve Carrel is at his best in a role that should’ve garnered him more recognition than it did. Keira Knightly is.. well Keira Knightly. Charming , hopeless romantic and funny. The plot stays on course and spares no tears as the reality of the situation sets in and while the backdrop is chaotic there are some folks that chose to celebrate life instead of harken death. It is a great watch and has had a profound effect on me. Please watch. But bring your Kleenex and leave the kids under 14 at home. This may be too dee for them.

This movie follows some very flawed “superheroes” and that’s what makes it so good. The gruesome violence, and plenty of F bombs give it a well deserved R rating. Love that about it too. Chemistry with the cast was very good too. They seemed to get rid of the folks that you didn’t really have interest in and keep the ones that you didn’t. Very good special effects and CGI was very smooth. Idris Elba was his usual stunning self and the rest of the cast followed suit with great comedic relief by John Cena. The hilarity wasn’t to be outdone by the general undertone of impending doom and it had its share of twists and turns and good back stories. Highly recommend this movie. Also the soundtrack was amazing too.

For me personally very relatable , even somewhat disturbing look inside prison walls and an even deeper look into the duality of both inmates and correctional officers. Enjoyed it from open to close. Character conflicts added another dimension as well. Highly recommend this movie.
