Hot on the heels of the 2024 Para-Olympics, this far from simple documentary, provides continued insight into just how far Disability advocacy has come within Australia & the wider world, but just how much farther there still is to go. Let's just integrate the 'Olympics' to see ALL athletes graded accordingly & performing within the 1 sporting category, which in this instance, is tennis. Well done Adam Hills - what a great way to have value-added into your already awesome life!

A fabulous bit of TV entertainment, with a script that is both character and plot driven. Wonderful, emotionally credible performances, by quality actors, delivering a script that is simultaneously gritty and elegant. Performances by Andrew Buchan and Anton Lesser, particularly notable. Perfect ending.

When viewing foreign film/TV shows, the subtitles can leave a bit to be desired, but with this series, it is either missing a final episode 7 or the producers were expecting a 2nd series. As it stands, the series is pretty unsatisfying, because it leaves large chunks of the plot unexplained. After investing 6 x 40 minute sessions of my time, as a viewer, I deserved better. Scenery? Astounding. Acting performances? Skilled professionals. Script? As above.

Great film-making! Very well captures the expat' lifestyle of top-tier executives within Chinese based communities & their domestic 'helpers'. You will simultaneously hate & reluctantly admire very flawed & therefore authentically 'human' characters, given brilliant script dialogue to work with & inspired direction, to deliver performances which such a quality cast, fortunately should guarantee anyway. Seldom have I seen film-making which so successfuly does justice to domestic 'helpers' & the very weird dynamic of raising another families' children, whilst your own are raised in a completely different country, where you left them to be raised by others, albeit usually grandparents &/or other family members - so that you could improve their overall standards of living ❤️

What a hidden gem. It keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout, suspense wise & is well scripted and acted. Left me with a couple of loose threads at the end but no biggie. Felt more like an American film than English but in a good way.

As a viewer, I was very grateful for being largely spared, sustained exposure to scenes depicting the depraved torture experienced by Mohamedou Ould Slahi, in what the world now knows, was the hell-hole on Earth of the Guantanamo Bay, United States of America's, Military Prison. "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here" indeed. And humanity.

The calibre of the cast, ensures you won't be disappointed. A very good story, well told. Makes me want to read the book. Couldn't help thinking - it would make a great play!
