The show has some good special effects in the dramatic re-enactments parts but other than that it’s lacking a lot. The re enactment scenes are filmed with a “flickering light” effect at all times which adds nothing to the scene and is really just annoying. The people talking about their experience talk as if they’re explaining it to everyone for the first time even though most of the other people in the group were there and shared the experience so it just comes across as awkward. For example in one episode a lady pretty much mansplained dementia to the group even though everyone in the group was a nurse who worked in a home for people with dementia? It has potential if it wasn’t for th trying to sell fake stories as true. The EP for the show is adamant that all stories are true but it’s very hard to believe the likes of slaughter house or spirits from below (house burned down?) with no evidence. Maybe if they used more of the story tellers own photos or home videos to add some back up to their stories it may make it more believable.
It’s a good 20 min horror short story but don’t expect to be blown away. You’ll find better on YouTube (Omeleto/Alter)
