Such an important series for everyone to watch, but especially white Americans, who have been sleep walking around thinking that "racism is over", don't understand the concept of "Black Lives Matter", are threatened by the teaching of the non-white washed American History in our schools and especially those of us who are voting against our own best interests because we are threatened by CRT or BLM when we have NO IDEA what they are nor the concepts of. So many white Americans and dare I say especially those of us who identify as "white liberals" need to quiet ourselves enough to realize our participation in and our complicity in a systemically racist country. Whether the treatment by POC by the media, the judicial system, access to financing, housing, we have not come as far as we all have convinced ourselves or lulled ourselves into believing. We are in the fight for our democracy, the soul of our nation and the only way to move forward is to recognize the genocidal foundation that our country was built on using black bodies to build it. The only path forward is to recognize that we can only truly be great when we can admit there is a problem and really deal with white supremacy and white privilege that is running rampant in our culture. The responsibility for solving the problem of racism in American falls solely on white Americans. Thank you to Colin Kaepernick and other truth tellers for bringing these realities to light.
