They did not slouch on the special effects. As would be predicted from a major Hollywood production, the visual effects were stunning. The storyline was nonexistent. The movie was rushed so much that it could’ve been three movies if it were told better. Kids will love it, friends of King Kong will love it. Anyone who knows kaiju will recognize some familiar shapes from Toho that were reused, and the names changed to protect the innocent Or whatever. Why they just couldn’t call them what they were, I don’t really know. They called Mothra Mothra after all. If you’re an adult taking your children… It will probably be boring, but if you’re a fan of special effects and some decent 80s classic rock, it’s worth seeing. If you’re a fan of kaiju films? You might want to pass this up. The film really just panders, though it’s probably the first time in a kaiju film, where the Hometown favorite runs into some trouble, enlist the help of an unlikely ally, and the two of them tag team the bad guy and poof! The world is once again safer, democracy, or whatever. Although, if you’re eight years old… You probably haven’t seen this story told 5783 times already. If you can stream it at home that’s probably perfect, at least then you can say “yeah I saw it… It was aaight”

The Godzilla origin story told in an updated manner, with a mixture of CGI and other effects. The effects are stunning, in the way Godzilla moves and how he looks. Done in the classic way, the only way the Japanese know how (it’s kind of not a Godzilla film without the Godzilla music) There’s a whole new mechanical feeling to his breath weapon, jury still come out on this one. The movie was as much a human drama, as it was a monster movie. It was very enjoyable! Suitable for everyone, I believe it’s rated PG-13 for American audiences. Pretty much all audiences everywhere else.

If it weren’t for the absolutely horrific dialogue, it would’ve got better marks. The usage of United States pig, English verbiage and syntax made me really happy that I didn’t watch it dubbed. It just goes along with saying, don’t watch Japanese animation that’s been interpolated by the illiteracy of the west. Terms like “sus, op, merch”, And things like “the hell? And “where are you at” are only said by people in the United States. And in the west. No one in Japan speaks like that, if I wanted to watch a western series, I’d watch Ren & Stimpy. It’s kind of tough to immerse yourself in eastern culture, when they’re speaking western language… Poorly. Otherwise the series was AAA the animation writing fighting. It was 21st century Sailor Moon.. With a twist

An educational view on obscured locations. The show is hampered by its subjective overdramatization, politics, and social racism. The show panders to the audience to see the propaganda the producers want you to see. (I.e. A house is a place, it’s neither diabolical, sinister, or evil… it’s just a house.) So if you can cut through the poor production value, and flotsam, it’s actually very educational.

First of all, the film targets, 10-year-old girls… Or, your inner 10-year-old girl that being said, it was much more enjoyable than I thought it would be. The stills of the film did not do justice to actually seeing it on screen. The three main characters did excellent jobs, and Brie Larson‘s work out routine absolutely paid off! There were plenty of laughs to be had (half the film) and the action/fight scenes were very well done. Still, it felt disjointed. As if it were a book with a bunch of chapters torn out. Doing 10 one hour episodes would have done a better job of telling the story.

More like a comedy, I laughed uncontrollably most of the time. It’s produced like a high school play. The acting is horrible, the writing is horrible, the casting is horrible. As a drama, or even romantic drama, it’s a dismal failure! But as a horror comedy, maybe it’s so so. Or maybe just comedy, there’s not much horror to be seen. If evil dead, or Army of darkness gets a 10, this one might get a 2. Which is better than it is now at 1.

It gets a medium rating for Content. Above that, you have a main character who is supposedly super intelligent, and will tell anyone who cares to listen because she has no filter? And then of course there's a twenteen romance novel going on in the background. The main characters are unbelievable in the role because as intelligent as this person is supposed to be, they have not learned tact, understanding, etiquette, empathy (however faked) at all. You would think that someone of this supposed immense intelligence, would learn how to at least dance! Or realize you dress differently for different occasions. You would think that someone so smart would learn the concept of At least faking like you can be like everyone else. I mean, there are plenty of unfeeling, straight up heartless people who are not diagnosable as per the DSM five, but they value the concept of empathy?! I am all for powerful, beautiful, intelligent, articulated women of the 21st century. I hope this one can be at least believable in her real life. So I guess by now you've realized that the writing for the show is basically for teen to twenteen people. Those who like the "relationships", and those who like the science.
