I'm giving it three stars for bringing back all legacy characters and not killing any of them that would have been a real cop out. I have to say the plot moved slowly and of all six films it's my least favorite everything felt rushed and even the most deserving death of the entire series was left mostly off screen however it was a nice call back to the first film. I could have counted less than five people dead on screen when the tally should have been far higher. The Babyface turn of BD Wong would have felt appropriate in the second or possibly even the third movie but it felt too late for his character to have a happy ending in this film overall I'm glad that my tickets were free because otherwise I would have been upset with paying to see this. What a sour puff of a note for a large piece of my childhood to go out on having been born just a couple years after the first movie the first second and third movie is were a large part of my childhood the second being my favorite because it felt like it stuck closest to the book however this newest film with me sour and disappointed in what the franchise had become had it not been for the return of Sam Neil Laura dern and Jeff goldblum I would have been far more greatly upset.
