Tried really hard to get into this series. Watched the whole first season and first episode of season 2. Yea the visuals are great, but the show continues to ask for greater and greater suspension of disbelief. It just gets too much. Fight scenes, for example, where you wouldn’t even be able to tell the characters are blind. Perfect hits, no missed swings, perfectly timed dodges and ducks. Knowing exactly where the enemy is at all time. I get it. It wouldn’t be fun to show two people meandering aimlessly around each other for 10 minutes attempting to kick and punch and stab each other. Not to mention the blind people traversing unknown terrain and territories and cities better than a non blind person. Jason momoa is impossible to kill or even hurt. It’s just so damn unrealistic even for a sci fi show to render it borderline ridiculous and unenjoyable as a result. I could go on. But I won’t. Save yourself the time and watch bird box instead, which itself is unrealistic but is light years better than this show.

Google won't let me leave my longer review (keeps giving me an error), so just posting a shorter one. Great show that's misunderstood by most of the 1-star reviews. The nudity and graphical nature is necessary to invoke the user reaction and disgust towards Tedros, and helps setup the twist at the end. All the signs are there about who Joss really is, but the show misdirects viewers to think she is being taken advantage of. There is also lots of symbolism and clues in the music lyrics in the songs written for the show. Ultimately, it's a sad, dark, tragedy of a show as Joss really isn't happy as a person, and she doesn't exactly win at the end in the larger scheme of things. But it is indeed excellently done! 5 stars!
