Brilliant portrayal of a true and amazing story.

Excellent film then and still a very good film now. Yes it has 80’s cheese, but who doesn’t like cheese? Vegans maybe. Acting from the lead roles is far more convincing than the supporting roles and the word ‘entirely’ is entirely used too much. But a great simple plot you get behind with good guys against bullies.

Absolutely loved this film. Don’t really understand how so many reviewed it lowly. All characters were gritty and real with some pretty violent scenes and raw dialogue. The twist was welcome with plenty of colourful encounters. Unsure as to why the Guvnor’s were ambushed so easily and the final scene confused me as to the intentions but on balance a great film I’d happily watch again.
