STEAL LIKE AN ARTIST AUTHOR: AUSTIN KLEON It’s a book where i've found something that no one will ever tell me or no one wants to confess or talk about. One of my favourite quotes from this book is- "There is nothing new under the Sun" (Bible) We think that we just creat a new thing. But it’s not true. Basically we do just what’s in our mind, what we think, what we saw or what we like to do. So, "Every new idea is just a mashup or remix one or more previous idea." Like as- I myself a remix or new version from my mom and dad. "Start copying what you love. Copy copy copy copy. At the end of the copy you will find yourself. First, you have to figure out who to copy. Second, you have to figure out what to copy." It’s interesting that, "human hand is incapable of making a perfect copy." (you can try this,i also tried 🤭) You can't do as same as previous. Another quote I liked,that FM John Water said - "nothing is more important than an unread library. " Personally i can relate to this. I love to read books and i love more to collect books. Actually "There is a magic in being sorrounded by books." An important and educative part of this book is - "STAY OUT OF DEBT." Make yourself a budget. Save as much as you can. Get the education you need far as cheap as you can get it. My dad always tells us one thing- Once the cost is wide,it is impossible to reduce it. So try to be happy with what you have and try to do something from it. I think Austin Kleon have written a crash course about life lesson. There is a topic about "Geography is no longer our master." But also he said that, you have to leave home at least once. Travel makes the world looks new. I agree with this part and i can relatee to me too. At an important age in my life i was a bit away from my family. And from this distance i was able to closer to my family, to the world, to the people arround me. Interacting with different types of people is very important for life lesson. Distance and difference are the secret tonic of creativity. In the end, put in what you love and choose what you want to leave out. LOVE YOURSELF. BE HAPPY 🌼 HAPPY READING 🌼
