I have been waiting a long time for the movie or TV series adaptation of Hugh Howey’s Silo 3-book series. Hugh Howey’s books are exceptional and his out-of-the-box story telling is far beyond your typical mystery, romance or even science fiction books. Hugh Howey is an amazing writer and I’m surprised he isn’t a more well known author. I’ve watched the two available episodes. I am pleased with the screenplay and direction in which the story is being explained in a more linear timeline compared to the books. I’m looking forward to watching the entire series. Hugh Howey is an executive producer on the series, so hopefully they took his advice on how his story should be told through an onscreen production. If anything you get from my review, you’d be foolish not to read the Silo books and other books written by Hugh Howey.
