I've listened to Seth Andrews' "The Thinking Atheist" podcast for several years so none of the information in this book was news to me; however, I find it will serve as a great quick-reference to remind myself of several points it can be helpful to make when attempting to converse with people who are still isolated in that bubble where doubt and the desire for evidence are considered the work of the devil. Seth writes very well and makes the arguments for a rational discussion about controversial topics. It is uplifting to realize that even a deeply, blindly devoted follower of both fundamentalist, evangelical Christianity and the propaganda which makes up the majority of Fox News content can be reasoned out of the fear and arrogant cruelty of their privileged position and learn to embrace humanism.
