Probably his worst book ever. (Which says a lot if you think about the Gunslinger). It was blatantly obvious that King is suffering from TDS and couldn’t help but take shots at the person he despises while waving his left wing as proudly as a rainbow colored peacock. Way too many characters that had little or nothing to do with the story. (Which was also pointless). Endless drivel that literally put me to sleep. This book found its way to my trash can and I bid it Adieu.

I love Sci-Fi books, movies etc. Invasion, however missed the mark when it comes to both Sci-Fi and Alien Thriller. The “aliens” were more like 5 foot tall animated thistles that are supposedly of a higher intelligence than humans, yet can be eliminated by a 12 year old boy with epilepsy. One fourth of the show is in subtitles which is a no-no in my book, but that’s just me. And complete storylines were dropped from the series three episodes in, never to be heard from again. One bright spot was the use of David Bowies music in the last couple episodes.
