Don Loughrey – Google

I very much enjoyed this book. The scene where the skilled hunter with rifle goes after the hit man whose skill set like in working up close and depending on physical strength was memorable and for that as well as the overall plot, I made sure to get a copy of the until recently out of print book. The Authors has a few other decent books but this one is my favorite. You might punch holes in some of the plot but hell, I can do that to a Stephen King book. I loved it and I recommend it. Good buddies looking to settle the score for one of their own who is murdered. I dug it and still do.

Despite many professional critics panning this film I consider it one of my favorites. Separate from it's inspiration "Day of the Jackal" which was a classic as was the book, the modern setting was good and the characters made you feel for them. Some suspension of disbelief is required but what Thriller doesn't require it. It's a film I go back to again and again.....and the musical score is excellent. I truly Dig this flick.
