Not even gonna comment on the politics of the show. The writing is bad, bad, bad. No subtelty, no buildup, nothing. Every character tells you their entire worldview and motivations in their first scene. The humor is predictable and honestly kind of cringey. The pacing is atrocious, and there's no immersion possible in a show that has a 70's disco vampire in the seventeen hundreds. Just all kinds of terrible. The animation is decent, clearly had plenty of budget, but the scene direction is so poor that it's wasted.
