I absolutely LOVED Spyro games when I was a kid, so you can imagine my excitement when I saw the announcement for a new Spyro game coming to the Switch. I got the game with high hopes, but unfortunately was let down in every way possible. I remember the controls being really smooth, but the camera on this version is terrible. It is very sensitive and insists on locking every time you charge or glide, with no option to change this in the settings. I kept running into walls and circling around enemies rather than hitting them. I expected more from this version, but you're really just paying $40 for games you could play with better controls on your old gamecube.
