Fun, quirky, and adorable movie about the pressure-laden experience of teenage life, especially for girls. Don’t mind the negative reviews as they reflect helicopter parents that are somehow taken aback as to how a child can ‘disrespect’ their parents while remaining blissfully unaware of how their actions affect their children. I’m glad modern Pixar films are addressing the parents’ roles in a child’s development and how trust and understanding are key, not control and isolation.
