I have watched the movie and read the reviews, particularly the 1 star ones. I don't particularly like Adam Sandler or his comedy but I approached this with an open mind. I liked it. I thought that the story was well written with many layers, it can be considered and evaluated both literally and metaphorically, and both have merit yet the conclusion leaves both open. The acting is solid and most importantly for a modern film, there are no identity politics or preaching shoved down your throat. You are left to evaluate it for yourself. Thank you.

If you're after a history show look elsewhere, this is a travel show with a little history thrown in.
