Most of the negative aspects i see are that it’s multiplayer. If you’re expecting the style of a usual souls-like, this is not the game for you. Despite the multiplayer aspects the mechanics are fully fleshed out. The game is exhilarating to play and even though i’ve only played it for a day it allows for a lot of pve fun. Get a couple friends and hop into a game, you’ll die a lot (wow dying in a souls-like). From Software lied, there is lore in the game it’s just not as heavy as usual souls games. Oh no, there’s no voice chat. Just get discord and hop in a call with friends. There’ll be many epic moments of “oh no, we’re too underleveled for this enemy” and you move on to an easier boss to grind because speed is the game. I was fully aware of the type of game it’d be and it fully delivered and exceeded my hype unlike other big games that have had a lot of hype and didn’t make the hype. In conclusion, it’s not Elden Ring 2. It’s a multiplayer pve experience and the best multiplayer FromSoftware have ever integrated. If you don’t have friends there is a harder solo mode for you, although enemies are designed for multiplayer however it’s more like seamless coop multiplayer. 10/10 lived up to the hype
