80% of the movie was spent watching some confusing love story-jail break hybrid? The best part of the movie was Anguirus, who did nothing really except die halfway through the movie. Making the last half really hard to sit through. I liked the idea of trapping Godzilla in an avalanche and the sequence, although very drawn out, worked pretty well, but this movie is brought down by the fact that so much of the screen time is people laughing dancing and flirting at a time of national crisis? Just one scene like that would look out of place but it was more or less the whole movie except when Godzilla and Anguirus were on screen! To sum it up, I enjoyed Anguirus' debut and although silly and not the most convincing looking, the fights were funny and charming, but Godzilla Raids Again completely forgot what it was about halfway through the film and although it showed promise in the first 15 minutes, it was a major letdown in the end.
