This is probably my 4th viewing, saw this at the cinema when it first came out. Back then I was too young to understand it, but this time I had no visions of Good Morning Vietnam or Mrs Doubtfire clouding my expectations. From Dead Poets Society and Awakenings I knew Robin Williams was a wonderful dramatic actor, but only now could I fully appreciate the film as a whole. It was only in the final scene, so carefully built into a moment of full crisis for Sy Parish, that Robin's portrayal of this character over the whole film became apparent. This is why the film garners 5 stars for me, those moments in cinema are rare and memorable. Only a stellar film complete with a fantastic script, fantastic cast and masterful direction and editing can achieve those moments. So again, 5 stars.

A jolly good romp, written with decent faith to Conan doyles original stories. Sadly Blu Hunts acting as Holmes's daughter was a touch sub-par, I don't know if it was her performance, the script or the directors input that was to blame though. David Thewlis made a wonderful Holmes though and in my opinion both stole the show and kept the plot on an even keel. Well paced and absorbing, a fun viewing experience all around.

Whoever directed this did a terrible job. It's a stellar cast of fine actors, can't fault them. Ploddingly slow, and I do mean that. Watch the first second and last episodes and you will miss nothing but a waste of the hours that should have been left on the editing floor. The scene of Charlotte apologising to Anna for trying to steal her husband was as realistic as a 7 dollar note. And don't expect any pay-off for watching the final episode, the 'twist' is non existent, unless you enjoy watching the main characters endlessly justify themselves.

Should be called - How to take 3 perfectly good storylines filled with excellent acting and turn it into annoyingly long winded arthouse masturbation. The final scene went from being the apex of the story to a ridiculous waste of time, it also destroyed all the hard work put in to a decent series by ending it in such a ridiculous fashion. What a shame, it could have been so good instead of forgettable and silly.

Had the show on for 27 minutes before I heard any music whatsoever. When it came it was nothing but half decent karaoke competition at best. The show could be hugely improved by getting rid of Kyle 'I'm funny just ask me' Sandilands for a start. Marcia and Amy are the only ones worth listening to, sadly they don't get much of a chance to impart some actual wisdom without Kyle cutting in. The bloke who couldn't sing a note if his life depended on it.

This isn't a drama, it's satire with no humour. Taylor Sheridan has made a joke of himself. To paraphrase the immortal words of Gene Wilder "he must have killed more men than Cecil B DeMille".

How do you remake 'The Crow''? I can tell you how not to make it. Don't make a movie that is this slow , don't fill it with a load of teenage angst fantasy with a nonsensical storyline, don't make it so slow, don't fill it with terrible direction and lighting so dark that barely anything could be seen and you know... Pick up the pace of the plot. This story could have been told in 20 minutes and lost none of its storyline. Sooooooo bad.

Only a sycophant could praise this film, the story is trite bordering on non-existant. The direction is lacking while trying (and failing) to make a point. Calling this film a horror/comedy is ridiculous, there is no comedy and no horror. A waste of time.

Nothing personal, just don't find it particularly amusing. Theatresports needs a group that have worked together for a long time, that's why 'who's line is it anyway' works. Without being able to anticipate your fellow players, the format becomes silly and monotonous. No fault of the presenter, regular cast or guests though, they are trying their best.

As Jack Jarvis and Victor McDade would say "what a pile of absolute pish!".
