This is one of the best shows I have ever watched, hands down. Tom Holland did an EXCELLENT job of portraying all the different alters and feelings that Danny/Billy would have likely felt, so much so that it was hard to remember it wasn't a real story. The first 5 episodes or so are harder to get through, as it is confusing and you do not have the full picture yet. Episodes 6 through 10 though make everything make sense and really makes you empathize with Danny's character. While I understand the comments that criticize the show due to it 'perpetuating the harmful stereotype that those with DID are violent', I disagree. While almost all people diagnosed with DID are not violent or dangerous to the public, the case with Billy Milligan was the opposite, and it does not mean that every single person suffering with DID is like that. I think that Tom Holland shows clearly that Danny Sullivan is not someone who is dangerous or harmful to the public, but is a incredibly traumatized individual who's brain learned to cope in the only way it knew how in order to help him. It was truly a beautiful show and I cannot recommend it enough. Props to Tom Holland, it could not have been easy to act or direct the show but he did a fantastic job. 10/10 would recommend.
